redONE<\/span> Mobile, community telco, through its charitable arm Yayasan redONE<\/span><\/strong><\/b>, continued its long-term commitment to supporting local communities through its annual Qurban programme<\/strong><\/b> held in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha. The programme took place in Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan and Sabah from 27 to 30 May.<\/strong><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Since its introduction in 2014, the programme named Barakah Korban this year is one of redONE<\/span> Mobile’s key annual community initiatives, aimed at strengthening ties with communities across various states.<\/span><\/p>\n

More than just a corporate social responsibility initiative, the Barakah Korban programme also united redONE<\/span> Mobile employees and business partners, mosque committee members and local residents from various backgrounds to work hand in hand, strengthening relationships and reinforcing the spirit of gotong-royong<\/i> that remains deeply rooted in the community culture. The programme involved the slaughtering, preparation and distribution of qurban meat to those in need.<\/span><\/p>\n

Group Chief Executive Officer of redONE<\/span> Mobile, Farid Yunus<\/strong><\/b> said the Barakah Korban programme reflects the company’s continuous efforts to stay close to the communities that have long been the backbone of the brand’s growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

“For us, qurban is not only about sacrifice, but also sincerity, empathy and the spirit of togetherness. Programmes like this give us the opportunity to be on the ground and connect with communities that have continuously supported and contributed to the growth of redONE<\/span> Mobile over the years.<\/span><\/p>\n
