Genting Highlands – redONE Network Sdn Bhd (redONE) the largest Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) has hosted its annual Star Nite 2024 in appreciation of its partners’ accomplishments at the Genting International Convention Centre (GICC), Genting Highlands on 20 January 2024. Themed ‘Asean’, the prestigious night saw more than RM1.5 million worth of prizes and cash incentives given away to honor exceptional achievements and performances of redONE’s sales partners throughout 2023.
The spectacular night commenced with an electrifying live band performance and an energetic lion dance presented by the renowned Master Siow Lion Dance Team and witnessed a remarkable turnout of more than 1200 esteemed guests including the senior management team of redONE Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore and its sales and strategic partners.
The event showcased accomplishments of more than 50 sales partners nationwide in 12 categories which included Prepaid and Postpaid Partner, National and Regional Sales, Distributors, Sales Advisors Recruitment, Premier and Neighbourhood Centre, to name a few, in which, more than RM500,000 in cash incentives were given out.
The highlight of the celebration revolved around the presentation of the highly-anticipated Car Bonanza Giveaway where 20 brand new cars and EV bikes worth almost RM900,000 were given out to qualified sales partners who have demonstrated outstanding performances in 2023. The vehicles given out were BYD ATT03 (x2), Blue Shark EV Bike (x10), Perodua Bezza (x4) and Perodua Ativa (x4). High-achieving redONE Sales Partners, who qualified for the Premier Car Bonanza Category, Ong Yue Lun of NTT Global Marketing and Tay Sock Yoon of Kesh Communications in Melaka, each won the highly-coveted BYD ATTO 3. Several rounds of lucky draws were also conducted where over 30 winners took home gadgets worth more than RM135,000.00.
New exciting initiatives for the year 2024 were also unveiled during the event including the announcement of a significant partnership with legendary Malaysian footballer, Safee Sali who will serve as redONE Brand Ambassador. The collaboration will see the football icon joining hands with redONE to drive the redONE Postpaid UX50 unlimited plan which rewards subscribers with an exclusive Safee Sali jersey. Proceeds for Safee Sali from sales of the postpaid plan will be donated to Pusat Permata Kurnia, a special education school under the purview of the Ministry of Education. On that note, redONE has also expressed its commitment to continue collaborating with esteemed Malaysian Super League football club, PDRM FC, following a successful 4-year partnership, further demonstrating the company’s commitment to contributing towards the growth of sports in the country.
2024 will also see redONE having a Brand Refresh as part of its new brand campaign, to resonate better with its target audience and remain relevant in the ever-changing telco market. In addition to that, the company has also revealed an upcoming new and exciting 5G postpaid and prepaid plans that will be launched soon.
