Mukmin Plans
- What is this plan all about?
The new Mukmin Plans are specially designed for government employees. Mukmin 58 and Mukmin 88 offer free device bundles, while Mukmin 188 is a device ownership program that provides 0% interest instalment payments over a 36-month period.
- How long is this offer valid for?
This is an offer effective from 3 November 2025.
- Who is eligible to sign up for this plan?
Eligible customers include individuals employed in the government sector or government-linked companies (GLCs). Applicable to customers aged between eighteen (18) and fifty-two (52) years old.
- Where can I sign up for these plans?

- How much do I need to pay upon registration?
RM50 Registration Fee is required upon registration.
- I am a government employee and currently subscribed to the postpaidPLUS38 plan. Can I upgrade to the new Mukmin Plan?
The new Mukmin Plans are exclusively available for new registrations. Customers are encouraged to either subscribe with a new number or port-in from another telco to sign up for a Mukmin Plan.
- What is the main condition of this program?
Monthly payments are made through ANGKASA salary deductions, and this plan is eligible for government employees whose pay slip deductions do not exceed 60% of their fixed income.
- During the 36-month contract period, what will happen if I terminate the plan?
If you stop your Mukmin plan before the 36 months are up, the charges will be:
- Mukmin 58 – RM860
- Mukmin 88 – RM1,550
- Mukmin 188 – RM28 + RM100 x remaining balance contract months
- What is the monthly salary deduction amount for the Mukmin?
The salary deduction are as below:

- I’m currently subscribed to the Mukmin 58 plan with a salary deduction of RM61.48. What happens if I purchase additional data? Will the payment be deducted from my salary, or do I need to pay for it myself?
The salary deduction is a fixed amount. If you purchase additional data in the redONE app, you will need to make the payment manually by yourself.
Hong Leong MSIG Takaful
- What is this product about?
This is comprehensive group term takaful which will ease financial burden in the event of death caused by an accident and natural causes. - What are the Shariah concepts applicable?
- Tabarru’ – a certain portion of the Contribution that the Participant agrees to donate upon occurrence of events approved by Shariah Committee of the Operator, thus enabling him to fulfil his obligation of mutual help and joint guarantee should any of his fellow Participants suffer a defined loss where his donation is meant to help others and others’ donation are meant to help him.
- Iltizambi Al-Tabarru’ – commitment to make Tabarru’.
- Wakalah – essentially an agent-principal relationship, where the Operator acts as an agent on behalf of the Participants to manage the PRF and PA on the Participants’ behalf and the Operator earns Wakalah Fee for services rendered.
- Ju’alah – an agreement in which the Participant promises to reward the Operator for its achievement or good performance in managing the PRF that leads to surplus to the PRF.
- Can I cancel or terminate my certificate?
The certificate is bundled to your Mukmin plan. It is a benefit given to you until you terminate your Mukmin plan. - What do I need to do if there are changes to my contact details?
It is important that you inform master certificate holder of any change in your contact details to ensure that all correspondences reach you in a timely manner. - What are some of the key terms and conditions that I should be aware of?
The coverage is based on Free Cover Limit as per in Master Certificate subject to declaration and contribution payment by master certificate holder. The claim notification is subject to Sunset Clause as per master certificate wording.
Note: This list is non-exhaustive. Please refer to the certificate contract for the terms and conditions under this certificate. - When is the insurance coverage activated?
Takaful protection will take effect immediately after signed up however for existing disease, there will be 12 months waiting period. Death due to natural causes only be covered on month 13 onwards.
Note: For existing disease, it will be based on the medical attendance report when customer wants to submit death claim.
- What are the covers / benefits provided?
The covers / benefits are summarized as below:

Note: Duration of cover is for one year. Master certificate will need to renew annually.
- What are the major exclusions under this certificate?
No Death benefit shall be payable if:- Participant/person covered commit suicide within a year from commencement date regardless of his/her mental disposition during the commission of the suicide.
- Death due to Pre-Existing Condition unless at the time of the death, participant/person covered has been covered for more than twelve (12) months from effective date of coverage.
- Participant/person covered die as result of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) or other sexual transmitted disease (STD).

- How long does it take for the claim procedure?
Claim process within 30 working days from complete document received. - Is there any hard copy acknowledgment of the insurance coverage?
There will be no individual certificate as Master certificate will be issued to redONE. If you required any information, you may contact your takaful operator for further assistance. - My account is suspended, am I still eligible for the insurance coverage?
Takaful coverage inforce except if we not received payment for 2 month or the certificate lapse. - How do I make a claim?

- If I have dual subscription of Mukmin plan, can I claim for both coverage subscriptions?
You can claim ONE subscription only even you have signed up two subscription of Mukmin plan. Your second subscription will be excluded from the Hong Leong MSIG Takaful benefit. - Where can I get further information?

redCALL
- What is redCALL?
redCALL is a new Value-Added Service (VAS) that enables high voice usage customers to make unlimited voice calls to all networks in Malaysia.
- Do I need to activate/ subscribe redCALL?
No, the redCALL will be activated automatically once your Mukmin58, Mukmin88 and Mukmin188 plan is successfully activated or successfully ported-in.
- I don’t want the redCALL Can I terminate it?
No, you cannot terminate the redCALL service. It is bundled with the Mukmin58, Mukmin88 and Mukmin188 for you to enjoy unlimited calls to all networks in Malaysia.
- Are the unlimited voice calls to all networks valid for calls made when I am roaming?
The unlimited voice calls is valid for domestic calls in Malaysia only.
- Do the unlimited voice calls include calls to fixed lines e.g. 03 numbers?
Yes. The unlimited voice calls include all domestic calls to mobile numbers and fixed line numbers in Malaysia. Calls to special numbers are excluded.
- Is there a Fair Usage Policy for the unlimited voice calls?
Yes, Fair Usage Policy of 100 hours per month is applicable.
- What happens when I exceed the Fair Usage Policy for unlimited calls?
You can continue to call other networks’ numbers at RM0.15 per minute for the remaining days of the calendar month.
- What is included in the unlimited calls with redCALL?
The unlimited calls include:
- Calls to all Malaysian mobile numbers (including redONE Postpaid & Prepaid).
- Calls to all Malaysian fixed line numbers.
- What is NOT included in the unlimited calls?
The following are excluded:
- Calls to special numbers (1300, 1700, 1600, 1MOCC).
- Calls to premium and special rate numbers.
- Video calls.
- International (IDD) calls.
- Are there any usage restrictions for the unlimited calls?
Yes, the unlimited calls are for personal use only. They must not be used for:
Re-selling, renting, or commercial purposes.
• Call rerouting devices, software, or auto dialers.
• Call centers, telemarketing, or conference calling.
• Continuous, automated, or machine to machine communication.
Hotspot
- What is hotspot data and is it included in my plan?
Yes, hotspot data comes bundled with the plan and cannot be removed.
- Does my hotspot data renew every month?
Yes, it renews automatically on the 1st of every month.
- Can I opt-out of the hotspot data if I don’t need it?
No, the hotspot data is a non-optional feature bundled with the Mukmin58, Mukmin88 and Mukmin188 plans.
- If I still have unused main data, can I use it for hotspot or tethering?
Hotspot data comes with its own dedicated quota. Your main monthly data cannot be used for sharing or tethering — only the allocated hotspot data can be used for that purpose.
- What if I use up all my hotspot data?
Once your hotspot quota is fully used, data sharing will be blocked.
- If I change my plan, what will happen to my hotspot data?
If you switch to another plan, your hotspot data will be automatically terminated.
