Mukmin Plans

  1. What is this plan all about?
    The new Mukmin Plans are specially designed for government employees. Mukmin 58 and Mukmin 88 offer free device bundles, while Mukmin 188 is a device ownership program that provides 0% interest instalment payments over a 36-month period.
  1. How long is this offer valid for?
    This is an offer effective from 3 November 2025.
  1. Who is eligible to sign up for this plan?
    Eligible customers include individuals employed in the government sector or government-linked companies (GLCs). Applicable to customers aged between eighteen (18) and fifty-two (52) years old.

  1. How much do I need to pay upon registration?
    RM50 Registration Fee is required upon registration.
  1. I am a government employee and currently subscribed to the postpaidPLUS38 plan. Can I upgrade to the new Mukmin Plan?
    The new Mukmin Plans are exclusively available for new registrations. Customers are encouraged to either subscribe with a new number or port-in from another telco to sign up for a Mukmin Plan.
  1. What is the main condition of this program?
    Monthly payments are made through ANGKASA salary deductions, and this plan is eligible for government employees whose pay slip deductions do not exceed 60% of their fixed income.
  1. During the 36-month contract period, what will happen if I terminate the plan?
    If you stop your Mukmin plan before the 36 months are up, the charges will be:

  • Mukmin 88 – RM1,550
  • Mukmin 188 – RM28 + RM100 x remaining balance contract months
  1. What is the monthly salary deduction amount for the Mukmin?

  1. I’m currently subscribed to the Mukmin 58 plan with a salary deduction of RM61.48. What happens if I purchase additional data? Will the payment be deducted from my salary, or do I need to pay for it myself?
    The salary deduction is a fixed amount. If you purchase additional data in the redONE app, you will need to make the payment manually by yourself.

Hong Leong MSIG Takaful

  1. What is this product about?
    This is comprehensive group term takaful which will ease financial burden in the event of death caused by an accident and natural causes.
  2. What are the Shariah concepts applicable?
  • Tabarru’ – a certain portion of the Contribution that the Participant agrees to donate upon occurrence of events approved by Shariah Committee of the Operator, thus enabling him to fulfil his obligation of mutual help and joint guarantee should any of his fellow Participants suffer a defined loss where his donation is meant to help others and others’ donation are meant to help him.
  • Iltizambi Al-Tabarru’ – commitment to make Tabarru’.
  • Wakalah – essentially an agent-principal relationship, where the Operator acts as an agent on behalf of the Participants to manage the PRF and PA on the Participants’ behalf and the Operator earns Wakalah Fee for services rendered.
  • Ju’alah – an agreement in which the Participant promises to reward the Operator for its achievement or good performance in managing the PRF that leads to surplus to the PRF.
  1. Can I cancel or terminate my certificate?
    The certificate is bundled to your Mukmin plan. It is a benefit given to you until you terminate your Mukmin plan.
  2. What do I need to do if there are changes to my contact details?
    It is important that you inform master certificate holder of any change in your contact details to ensure that all correspondences reach you in a timely manner.
  3. What are some of the key terms and conditions that I should be aware of?
    The coverage is based on Free Cover Limit as per in Master Certificate subject to declaration and contribution payment by master certificate holder. The claim notification is subject to Sunset Clause as per master certificate wording.
    Note: This list is non-exhaustive. Please refer to the certificate contract for the terms and conditions under this certificate.
  4. When is the insurance coverage activated?
    Takaful protection will take effect immediately after signed up however for existing disease, there will be 12 months waiting period. Death due to natural causes only be covered on month 13 onwards.

Note: For existing disease, it will be based on the medical attendance report when customer wants to submit death claim.

  1. What are the covers / benefits provided?
    The covers / benefits are summarized as below:

Note: Duration of cover is for one year. Master certificate will need to renew annually.

  1. What are the major exclusions under this certificate?
    No Death benefit shall be payable if:
    1. Participant/person covered commit suicide within a year from commencement date regardless of his/her mental disposition during the commission of the suicide.
    2. Death due to Pre-Existing Condition unless at the time of the death, participant/person covered has been covered for more than twelve (12) months from effective date of coverage.
    3. Participant/person covered die as result of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) or other sexual transmitted disease (STD).
      Note: This list is non-exhaustive. Please refer to the certificate contract for the terms and conditions under this certificate.
  1. How long does it take for the claim procedure?
    Claim process within 30 working days from complete document received.
  2. Is there any hard copy acknowledgment of the insurance coverage?
    There will be no individual certificate as Master certificate will be issued to redONE. If you required any information, you may contact your takaful operator for further assistance.
  3. My account is suspended, am I still eligible for the insurance coverage?
    Takaful coverage inforce except if we not received payment for 2 month or the certificate lapse.
  4. How do I make a claim?

  1. If I have dual subscription of Mukmin plan, can I claim for both coverage subscriptions?
    You can claim ONE subscription only even you have signed up two subscription of Mukmin plan. Your second subscription will be excluded from the Hong Leong MSIG Takaful benefit.

redCALL

  1. What is redCALL?
    redCALL is a new Value-Added Service (VAS) that enables high voice usage customers to make unlimited voice calls to all networks in Malaysia.
  1. Do I need to activate/ subscribe redCALL?
    No, the redCALL will be activated automatically once your Mukmin58, Mukmin88 and Mukmin188 plan is successfully activated or successfully ported-in.
  1. I don’t want the redCALL Can I terminate it?
    No, you cannot terminate the redCALL service. It is bundled with the Mukmin58, Mukmin88 and Mukmin188 for you to enjoy unlimited calls to all networks in Malaysia.
  1. Are the unlimited voice calls to all networks valid for calls made when I am roaming?
    The unlimited voice calls is valid for domestic calls in Malaysia only.
  1. Do the unlimited voice calls include calls to fixed lines e.g. 03 numbers?
    Yes. The unlimited voice calls include all domestic calls to mobile numbers and fixed line numbers in Malaysia. Calls to special numbers are excluded.
  1. Is there a Fair Usage Policy for the unlimited voice calls?
    Yes, Fair Usage Policy of 100 hours per month is applicable.
  1. What happens when I exceed the Fair Usage Policy for unlimited calls?
    You can continue to call other networks’ numbers at RM0.15 per minute for the remaining days of the calendar month.
  1. What is included in the unlimited calls with redCALL?
    The unlimited calls include:
  • Calls to all Malaysian mobile numbers (including redONE Postpaid & Prepaid).
  • Calls to all Malaysian fixed line numbers.
  1. What is NOT included in the unlimited calls?
    The following are excluded:
  • Calls to special numbers (1300, 1700, 1600, 1MOCC).
  • Calls to premium and special rate numbers.
  • Video calls.
  • International (IDD) calls.
  1. Are there any usage restrictions for the unlimited calls?
    Yes, the unlimited calls are for personal use only. They must not be used for:
    Re-selling, renting, or commercial purposes.
    • Call rerouting devices, software, or auto dialers.
    • Call centers, telemarketing, or conference calling.
    • Continuous, automated, or machine to machine communication.


Hotspot

  1. What is hotspot data and is it included in my plan?
    Yes, hotspot data comes bundled with the plan and cannot be removed.
  1. Does my hotspot data renew every month?
    Yes, it renews automatically on the 1st of every month.
  1. Can I opt-out of the hotspot data if I don’t need it?
    No, the hotspot data is a non-optional feature bundled with the Mukmin58, Mukmin88 and Mukmin188 plans.
  1. If I still have unused main data, can I use it for hotspot or tethering?
    Hotspot data comes with its own dedicated quota. Your main monthly data cannot be used for sharing or tethering — only the allocated hotspot data can be used for that purpose.
  1. What if I use up all my hotspot data?
    Once your hotspot quota is fully used, data sharing will be blocked.
  1. If I change my plan, what will happen to my hotspot data?
    If you switch to another plan, your hotspot data will be automatically terminated.

Mukmin58 and Mukmin88

  1. This plan is only applicable for government servants and permanent employees of Government-Linked Companies (GLCs) between the ages of eighteen (18) years old and fifty-two (52) years old.
  2. Those with bankruptcy andAgensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit(AKPK) status are not eligible for this plan.
  3. Salary deduction for the plan is not more than 60% of gross salary.
  4. This plan is valid for New and MNP port-in customers only. Foreigners and M2M customers are not eligible for this offer.
  5. The plan can be registered as a Master account only (valid for new registration only). The Master account is not allowed to add supplementary lines.
  6. Registration Fee for this plans is RM50.
  7. All prices displayed exclude service tax which will be imposed on you in your monthly bill.
  8. Monthly access fee for Mukmin58 and Mukmin88 plan is only applicable for the bundled high-speed data and unlimited voice calls to all networks in Malaysia and fixed line numbers, not for video calls and voice calls to special numbers.
  9. The redCALL and hotspot data are bundled with the Mukmin58 and Mukmin88 plan and are not optional. RM10 per month will be charged to the bill for redCALL.
  10. The bundled high-speed data, hotspot data and unlimited voice calls to all networks in Malaysia and fixed line numbers are applicable for domestic usage only within the Malaysia network. Roaming and IDD are chargeable based on Pay-Per-Use (PPU) rate.
  11. In the Mukmin58 and Mukmin88 plans first bill, the data bundle will be prorated based on the customer’s bundled high speed data usage. The prorated usage prices are as below:

  3. The Hong Leong MSIG Group Term Takaful is bundled together with this plan at no extra cost for the customer.

  2. The redCALL VAS is bundled with the Mukmin58, Mukmin88 and Mukmin188 plans and is not optional. RM10 per month will be charged to the bill.
  3. Unlimited voice calls include:
    • All domestic calls to redONE Postpaid, redONEPrepaid and other mobile operators
    • All domestic calls to national fixed line numbers
  4. CALLS EXCLUDED from the unlimited voice calls include:
  • Calls to 1300 / 1700 / 1600 / 1MOCC numbers
  • Calls to special and premium numbers
  • Video calls
  • IDD calls
  1. The redCALL VAS will be auto renewed on the 1st of every month.
  2. In any event where the customer wants to change his/her subscribed plan from the Mukmin58, Mukmin88 and Mukmin168 to another plan, the subscription to redCALL will be automatically continued unless the new plan is, 5G Postpaid 10, Amazing28+ or Data28.
  3. The unlimited calls to all networks in Malaysia shall NOT be:
  • Re-sold, rented or utilized in any other way except as an individual making calls to other network users in Malaysia
  • Used for rerouting calls (connection with a device/software/application)
  • Used to setup switch devices which could keep a line open potentially for hours
  • Used for multiple simultaneous calling and conference calling
  • Used for call centre and telemarketing
  • Used for continuous calling for extended period of time, auto dialling and machine to machine communication.

Hotspot

  1. Hotspot data comes with the Mukmin58, Mukmin88 and Mukmin188 plans and is not optional.
  2. The hotspot data can be utilized for data sharing within Malaysia network only. Data sharing when overseas are subjected to data roaming charges. The customer shall be charged based on the data rates imposed by the respective redONE roaming operators for data usage while roaming with redONE’s overseas roaming partners.
  3. Hotspot data will be auto renewed on the 1st of every month.
  4. Hotspot data will expire at the end of the calendar month. Any unutilised hotspot data will not be carried forward to the following month.
  5. In any event where the customer wants to change his/her subscribed plan from Mukmin58, Mukmin88 and Mukmin188 plans to another plan, the hotspot data will be automatically terminated.
  6. Upon 100% utilization of the hotspot data, data sharing will be blocked.

Hong Leong MSIG Takaful

  1. Same day registration of death for the intention of receiving the donation (insurance) will result in the donation being forfeited.
  2. For any changes of account details, customer is required to contact or visithlmsigtakaful.com.my.
  3. Customer will be contacted by Hong Leong MSIG Takaful personnel within 30 working days via SMS or call before the expiry date of the customer’s certificate.
  4. Customer will need to inform their closest relatives or next of kin on this plan to smoothen the process upon contacting Hong Leong MSIG Takaful.
  5. Customer can contact Hong Leong MSIG Takaful at 03 7650 1800, which operates 24 hours.
  6. If next of kin or relatives would like to request for any claims, they are required to bring or provide a copy of the customer’s death certificate or member’s card.

Salary Deduction Terms and Condition

  1. The redONE Plan: Mukmin58, Mukmin88 and Mukmin188 Plan (“the Plan”) terms and conditions (“T&C”).
  2. The Plan is only for Government officers with the ANGKASA salary deduction service (in accordance with the instructions from Surat Pekeliling Akauntan Negara Malaysia No. 1, year 1997, No. 2/81, No. 3.81, No. 4/81, No 1/85 and circulars, commands and rules by the Government and ANGKASA that are issued from time to time) available until the ages of 52 as at the date of signing up for the Plan, only (“the Customer”).
  3. The Plan is for a period of THIRTY-SIX (36) calendar months (“Contract Period”) for a monthly payment or RM58.00 for the Mukmin58 plan (“Mukmin58 Plan”) or RM88.00 for the Mukmin88 plan (“Mukmin88 Plan”) or RM188 for the Mukmin188 plan (“Mukmin58”) by the Customer.
  4. The Mukmin188 plan will reduce to RM88 after customer completed the 36 months contract period. The salary deduction will be according to the table below:

  1. In the event for whatever reason seen or unforeseen, the Customer terminates this agreement for the Plan before the completion of the Contract Period, he / she is subject to penalty to be imposed by redONE.
  2. In the event the Customer ceases to become a Government officer during the Contract Period, and has lost the facility to have his / her salary deducted by way of ANGKASA salary deduction scheme, he/she must continue to pay for the monthly Mukmin58 plan or Mukmin88 plan or the Mukmin188 Plan, where applicable.
  3. The Plan comprises of the redONE mobile service (“the Service”) and the chosen smart mobile device (“the Device”).
  4. Monthly payment of the Plan will be the complete payment for both the Service and the Device.
  5. The Customer shall not be allowed to make the Service payment and the Device payment separately.
  6. The Customer hereby agree to allow a part of his / her salary to be deducted as payment for Mukmin58 plan or Mukmin88 plan or the Mukmin188 Plan, which is to be paid to redONE. This deduction will be made to ANGKASA Service Bureau.
  7. The Customer declares that he / she understands all the instructions and rules set and draw by the Government and ANGKASA from time to time with regards to the deduction of his / her salary.

Device Terms and Conditions (Mukmin188)

  1. By accepting this plan, customer will enjoy one device instalment at the price as offered by redONE Network on our website and or sales material, which is exclusive of all applicable taxes (“Device Instalment”). For clarity, subject to your eligibility check on your salary deduction, you may purchase and sign up to two units with two master account.
  2. Device ownership – customer will gain ownership of the device after 36 months.
  3. Customer shall not:-
  4. Terminate device instalment plan within contract period.
  5. Port out to another service provider within contract period

  2. Customer to agree that redONE has the rights to impose the instalment remaining balances if customer wishes to terminate the contract. Device remaining balance charge is calculated as below:

  4. Customers are responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the device at all times and shall continue to pay instalment fee for the commitment period.
  5. Customers accept and acknowledge that the device title and ownership does not belong to the customer during the commitment period. The device is provided under this plan to customer and customer are accountable for the use and safety of the device. Nothing in this SSTC shall be construed as transferring the title or ownership of the device to customer unless otherwise expressly stated. customer shall not directly or indirectly give or allow another person to give any interest in or lien over the device. Customer shall promptly, at own costs and expenses, take all such actions as may be necessary to duly discharge or eliminate any such liens over the device upon obtaining actual knowledge thereof.
  6. Warranty will be under manufacturer.
  7. Device cannot be exchanged for cash.
  8. The Plan is not valid with any other offers and/or incentives, which have or may have been offered by redONE under any other offers from time to time.
  9. The use of the Service is subject to the postpaid general Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) at www.redonemobile.com.my/eng/terms-and-conditions/ (“Gen T&C”), redONE’s fair use policy at www.redonemobile.com.my/en/fair-use-policy/ (“FUP”).
  10. The T&C and the General T&C and the FUP will be read side by side at all times.
  11. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this T&C, the Plan and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Plan and Service(s) at www.redonemobile.com.my, including changes to the Gen TC and other applicable terms and conditions. Your continued use of the Service(s) and/or Plan (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of Services and/or Plan) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the Plan and/or the use of the Services by giving us notice within twenty-eight (28) days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes.
