Genting Highlands – redONE Mobile, Malaysia’s leading Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), hosted its annual Star Nite 2025 at the Genting International Convention Centre (GICC) on 15 February. Under the theme ‘Digital,’ reflecting the company’s commitment to advancing with the rapidly evolving digital landscape to empower its partner and customers, the event saw over RM2 million in prizes and cash incentives awarded to high achieving sales partners.
The evening began with an exhilarating lion dance by the prestigious Master Siow Ho Phiew Lion Dance Team, renowned for their mastery of the high pole lion dance, marking the start of the event attended by 1200 distinguished guests. Among them were redONE Mobile’s senior management from Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore, alongside its nationwide sales and strategic partners.
This year’s celebration recognized the exceptional achievements of over 30 recipients across 10 categories, including Nationwide for Top Premier Sales Advisor, Top Premier Neighbourhood Centre, Top Virtual Premier Shop, Top Premier Shop, Top Agency, and Best Region, among others. In total, nearly RM450, 000 in cash incentives and lucky draw prizes were presented. Additionally, several recipients were awarded overseas trips valued at over RM400, 000, and gold bars totalling RM148,000 acknowledging the outstanding contributions of these individuals and teams.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the Car Bonanza Giveaway, a thrilling moment where vehicles worth over RM300,000 were awarded including a Proton Persona, Proton S70, Perodua Bezza (x2), and Modenas Kriss motorcycles (x5). High-achieving redONE Mobile sales partner, Cheng Chuh Long from Alpha Born Resources, claimed the grand prize – a brand new MG4 EV worth RM103,999 for the Premier Car Bonanza category.
Earlier in the day, during redONE Mobile’s Partners’ Convention at GICC, additional exciting giveaways took place, where more outstanding sales partners won valuable prizes, including Modenas Kris motorcycles worth RM405,000, Benelli Panarea scooters valued at RM352,000, further celebrating their outstanding achievements.
In addition to this exciting moment, the night saw the unveiling of new revenue generating initiatives: redONE Prepaid 5G ULTRAPlus, a new prepaid plan packed with exclusive loyalty rewards, to be launched soon, and redSOLAR, a partnership with SureSolar offering energy-efficient solutions. These new developments are set to not only enhance customer offerings but also create valuable earning opportunities for redONE Mobile Partners.
The prestigious night also marked the announcement of a strategic partnership with Sedania As Salam Capital and Masyref Advisory, a significant milestone in expanding redONE Mobile’s financial services. This partnership builds on the success of redCASH, the company’s money-lending business established in 2019, which has since disbursed over RM30 million in loans, empowering redONE Mobile Partners.
In late 2023, redCASH extended its reach to redONE Mobile subscribers with a fully digital microfinancing solution, offering loans up to RM10, 000. Since then, RM5 million has been disbursed, supporting underserved communities within the redONE Mobile subscriber base.
Through this new partnership, redONE Mobile, Sedania As Salam Capital, and Masyref Advisory will work together to expand redCASH’s offerings, introducing digital Shariah-compliant financing solutions to provide ethical and accessible financial options for all redONE Mobile partners and subscribers.
